Bulgaria starts to gradually restore full operation of hospitals

Over the last 24 hours, 19 new cases of Covid-19 infections have been confirmed in Bulgaria, 8 of which have been hospitalized. The increase is 2.2% compared to the previous day. The total number of cases registered so far in the country is 884. There are 246 patients currently in hospitals, as 35 are in intensive care units.

There are a total of 521 cases in Sofia, of which 138 are in hospital and 23 in intensive care units. 
The death toll of Covid-19 in Bulgaria has reached 42 people.
The Chief of National Crisis Staff, Gen. Ventsislav Mutafchiisky, reported that the overall mortality rate for the country is being compared to the mortality rate from Covid-19 to determine whether there is any hidden mortality that is not included in the statistics.
The phased restoration of the operation of hospitals in Bulgaria begins. The counseling of pregnant women and young children as well as immunizations according to the national immunization calendar will resume next week.
