Foreign Minister Zaharieva: We must support Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership in their fight against coronavirus

During a video conference of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, Bulgaria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva laid emphasis on the challenges the transport sector in Europe is now facing, and urged Brussels not to go ahead with the “Mobility” package which is detrimental to Bulgarian hauliers. Minister Zaharieva expressed Bulgaria’s support for the actions of the European Commission in support of third countries in their fight against Covid-19, and stressed the need to support the countries of the Western Balkans and the Eastern Partnership.
