Muslims welcome Ramadan with restrictions because of Covid-19

The holy month of Ramadan for the Muslims begins today in Bulgaria under strict restrictions because to the coronavirus pandemic. According to order of the Chief Mufti, mosques are closed and prayers will be broadcast online. It is recommended that gatherings and family meetings be in a tight circle. An order of the Minister of Health temporarily prohibits the entry of people and passenger vehicles from Turkey, except for vehicles with special traffic regime, transportation of people in need and cases of humanitarian missions.
