Bulgaria has informed Rosatom of a postponement in the deadline for the tender for the construction of Belene nuclear power plant because of the coronavirus pandemic.
This was announced by a representative of the Russian state-run corporation. The extension deadlines for work on the tender will depend on the duration of the restrictions due to the pandemic. Rosatom stated that they remain optimistic about the implementation of the project despite the delay.
