In a telephone conversation, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed current data on the spread of the coronavirus and measures that have proven effective in curbing the disease.

In the conversation, the Bulgarian Prime Minister spoke about his expectation that after having officially submitted the documents for joining the ERM II mechanism to the European Central Bank, Bulgaria would continue to rely on the support of President Macron.
