4 infected people have arrived with flights from the Netherlands

New cases of Covid-19 have been identified involving passengers on two flights from the Netherlands that landed at Sofia Airport on May 1st.

Two women with positive PCR tests are from Haskovo municipality. The infected arrived in Bulgaria despite warnings from authorities in the Netherlands not to travel as they tested positive for the coronavirus. 54 people were on board the first aircraft. Two other passengers from Dimitrovgrad also tested positive after rapid tests at Sofia Airport. They arrived with another flight from the Netherlands and were taken to a hospital in Sofia.
