People can now practice outdoor sports, but competitions are not allowed. Swimming pools will be reopened under certain conditions, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has announced.

Restaurants with outdoor areas are also to reopen but the rules for visiting them will be further specified. Suspended driving training is being restored. After May 6, checkpoints between cities will be removed. They have already played their important role, it was announced. Streets or neighborhoods will be closed locally if needed. Because of the risk of infection, experts at the crisis headquarters have not agreed to open kindergartens.

A draft law to lift the state of emergency will be ready on Monday, May 4th. The remaining measures will be regulated by other laws.
