We do not want to take Gotse Delchev away from the people of North Macedonia. We are heirs to the same people who were not divided in the past, said MEP Andrey Kovachev. On the anniversary of the death of the revolutionary, Kovachev added that the great voivode should not divide but unite Bulgaria and North Macedonia.

"If the joint committee on historical issues did not start work and the falsification of history continued, until progress was made, the intergovernmental conference would be postponed. It is a pity that our neighbors do not respect the agreement we have signed,” Kovachev also said.
