The Legal Committee of the Bulgarian Parliament starts discussing today a government draft for changes to the Health Act. The changes set out key measures against the spread of the coronavirus and for overcoming economic consequences after the end of the state of emergency on May13.

Measures include the creation of an opportunity for the Minister of Health to directly order anti-epidemic actions. The changes also provide for clarification of the deadlines for socio-economic, financial and health measures aimed at overcoming the consequences of the spread of the infection.
