"The Bulgarian economy has its difficulties. It is part of the European economy where there is talk of an extremely severe recession", Bulgaria's Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov said in an interview with the Bulgarian National Television. He pointed out that an analysis of the effects of the Covid-19 crisis on the country's economy was to be made, but medium- and long-term measures have already been identified. The long-term measures are aimed at returning the Bulgarian economy to the parameters with which it entered the crisis.
Karanikolov pointed out that after the state of emergency ended, a large investor from the automotive industry was expected to visit Bulgaria. This is a company that has been monitoring Bulgaria for a year and a half, the minister said.
