The Black Sea resort of Albena on Bulgaria's northern Black Sea coast has raised its barriers to visitors and is now accessible for walks along with the Baltata Nature Reserve located on its territory. Spanning on an area of 205 hectares, Baltata offers visitors the opportunity to see the northernmost riparian forest in Europe, which is home to a number of rare endemic species. Eco paths lead tourists to two towers for observation of rare birds and animals, and a 70-metre-long wooden path enters the mouth of the Batovska River.

A tourist route connects the resort with the nearby village of Kranevo
With the opening of the central tennis courts on May 12, Albena resort will soon be accessible also for athletes.
