The State Fund "Agriculture" allocates BGN 1 million (511 thousand euros) under the de minimis scheme as an incentive for the realization of the harvest of Bulgarian cherries during the upcoming purchase campaign. Processing companies will receive financial support. The subsidy covers the costs of purchasing, transporting and processing the crop this year. The aid is part of the measures introduced by the state as relief for farmers due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
