No alternative to 14-day quarantine for people arriving from abroad

Even if a PCR test was performed on those arriving from abroad in Bulgaria, it couldin no way replace the 14-day quarantine. We have seen cases of people arriving from abroad who had been quarantined, but on the tenth day we found that they were ill, head of the National Headquarters against the spread of Covid-19 Gen. Ventsislav Mutafchiiski said.

There is no relationship between the number of tests performed and the newly discovered cases of coronavirus infection, which in recent days range from 20 to 50. Research confirms that in Bulgaria there is a cluster spread of the disease. Focusing on clusters and limiting them gives great chances for normalization of life, General Mutafchiiski said.
