Domestic tourism and the domestic market are a very tiny part of the overall Bulgarian tourism and there is no way for Bulgarian tourists to save the season. This was said in an interview with BNR by Prof. Stoyan Marinov from the University of Economics in Varna. According to him, last summer, the treasury of domestic tourism received 3 billion euros from foreigners, and Bulgarians vacationing abroad have spent only 500,000 euros.
