Bulgarian hoteliers ready to offer price discounts

49.1% of the Bulgarian hotels are planning to offer their clients an alternative period to use their holiday bookings. 62.9% intend to reduce the price of package services and 46,7% are planning to cut prices of accommodation, data of a survey conducted by the National Statistical Institute in April among hoteliers who were forced to suspend their business due to the state of emergency show. In medium term (May-June), 40.8% of the managers forecast that they will be able to cover up to 50% of their operating costs with own financing and only 16% of the surveyed believe that they are able to cover 100% of their operating costs with own money. 56.6% of the respondents intend to continue working, yet at lower capacity, 24.3% expect to suspend their activity and 13.5% of them expect to fully restore their business.
