For some, the gates of Eden are about a forty minute drive from Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. There, the village of Dolni Passarel hides between Plana and Lozenska mountains. The village square sports an ancient poplar and its vicinity- wild fields covered with fragrant thyme and wild strawberries. It is a starting point for several long, but easy routes. Due to the low vegetation in the region, walks in this time of the year are very pleasant, because it is not that hot yet. That is why Radio Bulgaria decided to offer you a relaxing trip across this area, which is not that popular among tourists. Come with us to “Dolni Pasarel- a heaven not far from Sofia”.
