BNR is the most trusted media for news: Reuters Institute

The Bulgarian National Radio is the media the Bulgarians trust the most, the 2020 report of the Institute for the Study of Journalism with the Oxford’s University’s Reuters Institute. Public broadcasters- the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) and the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) are less popular in terms of reach than commercial rivals, but they enjoy highest level of trust among Bulgarians. Trust in news overall decreased by 7% as compared to the previous year to 33%. Meanwhile, 72% of all Bulgarians say the Bulgarian National Radio is the most trusted for news. 71% of the people say BNT is the most trusted for news. According to 69% of the people Nova TV is the most trusted for news and 68% say BTV is the most trusted for news.
