PirinRun 2020 attracts mountain runners, cyclists for 7th time

Athletes in mountain running and cycling will compete for the 7th consecutive time in the PirinRun 2020 race on June 21. Tracks have been prepared in three disciplines: for a 13 km mountain running competition; mountain biking competition - 26 km and mountain duathlon /cycling and running/ at a distance of 13 km.

The start of the race is at the ski lift station in the town of Bansko, in Pirin Mountain, and the end point of the route is at Vihren peak (the highest peak in Pirin) for the runners and at Vihren Hut for the mountain bikers.

The race can include men, women, boys and girls. Veterans from 40 to 70 years of age can also take part in the competition, according to the organizers from Marathon Association.
