Bulgaria’s measuring instruments are known in Switzerland, USA and Japan

Bulgarian SMEs export their products most of all to Germany, Romania, Italy, France, Greece and Poland, with the expoirt of electric bicycles and mopeds accounting for the highest growth rate in the 2014-2019 period. 

In this index this country ranks 6th in Europe. Next on the list of exported products are measuring instruments (hydrometers, aerometers etc.) with a 1398% growth rate since 2014, indicates an analysis by the Institute for Market Economics on the export capacity of SMEs. In the sphere of measuring instruments Bulgaria’s production has strong positions in countries like Switzerland, USA and Japan. There has also been an increase in the supply of electric appliances and components such as batteries, electric heaters etc. from Bulgaria, and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe, with this country’s main competitors in this sector being non-EU countries such as China.
