Bulgaria calls on Greece for clarification on border crossing regime

Photo: BGNES

Due to the great interest related to the procedure for entering Greece from July 1, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Bulgarian Embassy in Athens, has asked the Greek authorities why only two of a total of five border checkpoints between Bulgaria and Greece are listed in the electronic form that needs to be filled in.

These are the Kulata- Promachonas and Makaza - Nymphaea border crossings. The Foreign Ministry said it had received no answer so far. We advise Bulgarian citizens to pass only through the two points possible for online registration and we continue to seek information about the plans of the Greek authorities, the Foreign Ministry added.
