Starting on July 14, tourists entering Greece through the Kulata-Promachonas checkpoint on the Bulgarian-Greek border will be required to present a negative PCR test for Covid-19. This requirement is part of the travel protocol adopted by Greek authorities, Bulgaria's Foreign Ministry announced.
The test must be performed no earlier than 72 hours before arriving at the border. The declaration demanded until now together with the bar code of the entry permit will be required together with it.
No new additional measures have been reported by the Greek authorities for citizens entering through airport and port checkpoints.
Greek authorities have announced 29 new cases of Romanian and Bulgarian tourists who tested positive for coronavirus at the border yesterday. Earlier this week, Greece closed its borders to Serbian tourists due to the large number of new infections in the country.
