Last night's fifth day of civil protests demanding the resignation of the government and Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev ended in the capital and other cities in the country without serious breaches of public order. This was announced by the Ministry of Interior, specifying that there were also provocations by young people with black hoods who lit torches among the protesters. No one was injured.
In the centre of the capital Sofia, the protest lasted until about midnight, ending with a traditional Bulgarian round dance (Dunavsko horo).
