6,000 Bulgarian students in Britain threatened by rising tuition fees

MEPs, including Bulgarian MEP Emil Radev, have called on the British government to reconsider the rise of fees for EU students after Brexit. London prepares to introduce annual tuition fees between £ 10,000 and £ 38,000, without EU students having the right to access student loans. MEPs say that this policy is to the detriment of both sides. The new rules, which will be in force after the autumn of 2021 also cover the financing for additional education and qualification. About 6,000 Bulgarian students are currently studying in the UK, it was reported.
