Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov is summoning on Thursday the council of the ruling coalition over the latest protests in search of a plan aimed to consolidate institutions in this country. During the meeting, GERB and the United Patriots will discuss the resignations of the Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov and the Minister of Interior Mladen Marinov who were appointed as ministers from the quota of GERB party, as well as the resignation of the Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov who is from the United Patriot’s quota. In an interview for BNR the leader of the National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria Valeri Simeonov and this country’s Deputy Premier and leader of VMRO party Krasimir Karakachanov said that they learned from the media the news that Premier Borissov was demanding the resignation of the three cabinet ministers. “You cannot react this way if you claim that you value your coalition partners. This practice, especially in such situation, is vicious”, Minister Karakachanov commented.
