Deputy Prime Minister Krassimir Karakachanov said he would resign if commanders, the coalition council or the Prime Minister thought he failed in his work as Minister of Defense.

Together with President Rumen Radev, he attended the Breeze 2020 naval exercise. In Burgas, Minister Karakachanov commented that it was possible that the new "renovated" cabinet might not include Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. However, this will become clear after the no-confidence vote. Regarding the protests in the country, the Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that greater attention should be paid to the expectations of society.
