There has been no actual peak of Covid-19 in Bulgaria: Dr. Spas Spaskov

There has been no percentage increase in the number of Covid-19 patients. The ratio between the number of Covid-19 tests and the number of people diagnosed with the novel coronavirus is very important. These people are not ill. They only transmit Covid-19, Dr. Spas Spaskov, former Director of the Hospital for Active Treatment and Emergency Medicine Pirogov, said in an interview for BTV. The estimates of the total spread of Covid-19 in Bulgaria are based on information about the number of total Covid-19 tests and the number of newly-infected patients. The ratio between PCR tests and Covid-19 cases is between 3% and 5%. In other words, we cannot speak of a peak of coronavirus infection. In my view, we are to start living with this virus and Covid-19 will not disappear that quickly, Spas Spaskov underlined.
