After the meeting of the partners from the ruling coalition GERB – United Patriots, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has announced the new changes in the government.

Marinov is an exceptional police officer, but there are mistakes in politics that are punishable, the prime minister argued. Borissov said that the actions of the police against the protesters, especially on the beach in Rosenets, did not correspond to his understanding of what the attitude towards protesting citizens should be.

The current Minister of Healthcare Kiril Ananiev will take over the post of the Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov. Goranovis released from office due to reduced control over the gambling commission, Borissov said.

Deputy Prime Minister Krasimir Karakachanov clarified that at the insistence of the United Patriots party, the government will rearrange some of its priorities.
