The Bulgarian Socialist Party calls for early Parliamentary elections and for resignation of Boyko Borissov’s cabinet and of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, BSP leader Kornelia Ninova wrote in the social networks several hours before the start of the meeting of this political party downtown Sofia. People do not feel fear and apathy anymore, which is a great victory, Kornelia Ninova says and adds that the government is unable to deal with the forthcoming crisis.

BSP held today its traditional annual meeting in front of the Council of Ministers building, instead on Buzludzha peak. The meeting went under the motto “Against Corruption and Robbery- Together for Bulgaria”. “People have the right to protest. I call on people to avoid violence and provocations. Everyone should be able to voice their opinion, meanwhile showing respect for the other people”, Kornelia Ninova said in her address to the people attending the event. “I don’t think there is any scenario”, the leader of BSP said with regard to last night’s events when protesters blocked the building of the Bulgarian National Television and Ninova had to be escorted by Police cordon after she took part at the weekly political overview show Panorama.
