250 newly registered Covid-19 cases out of 5,303 PCR tests performed

250 or 4.71% of the 5,303 PCR tests performed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours have returned positive for coronavirus.  

This brings the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country up to 10,871, indicate official data from the single information portal.

181 have recovered over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries since the start of the pandemic up to 5,766.

699 patients are in hospital, 40 in intensive care.

8 people have died over the past 24 hours bringing the death toll up to 355.

The coronavirus death rate in Bulgaria stands at 3.27 %.
