The White Brotherhood annual gathering in Bulgaria's Rila Mountain this year has attracted followers of Peter Deunov as well as many tourists who came to see the magical dance Paneurhythmy, BTA informs. It is performed on August 19 which marks the New Year for the followers of the White Brotherhood and is celebrated by greeting the sun from the plateau above the Kidney Lake, one of the Seven Rila Lakes

The disciples of spiritual teacher Peter Deunov believe that the sunrise on this day has a magical power and those who greet the sunrise on this place are filled with energy for the next 12 months. Paneurhythmy dance near the Kidney Lake continues for nearly two hours and the followers of the White Brotherhood are dressed in white.

The dance has been performed every year on August 19 since 1929.
