New school year begins with specialized operations against drug dealers

With the start of the new school year, large-scale police operations headed by the Prosecutor’s Office will be held against the spread of narcotics near Bulgarian schools. The final recipients of the narcotic substances are mainly young people. “Students are the most affected part of the society”, Valentin Valkov, District Prosecutor of Lovech contends. He specified that the operations against the possession, the manufacture and the spread of narcotics continue even at present.

In the past two months three high-tech drug laboratories, where large quantities of cannabis were grown, have been found and destroyed in Lovech district only.
