Majority of Bulgarian teachers oppose distance learning

82% of teachers want a regular learning process from the start of the school year in Bulgaria on September 15th. 13% of teachers are in favour of a learning process in an electronic environment and 6% accept hybrid teaching, according to a survey by the Education Trade Union at the Podkrepa Confederation of Labour. 


55% of teachers reject hybrid teaching, and 36% have responded that they would do it, but it would be very difficult for them. 

81 percent of teachers do not accept that parents should be able to choose distance learning for their children. 15% of teachers answer that parents should be allowed to choose because this is the democratic approach. 

81% are willing to protest if they are forced to teach in classrooms and then repeat the classes online for those who chose distance learning.
