CSKA Sofia and Lokomotiv Plovdiv continue participation in Europa League

CSKA Sofia has qualified for the second preliminary round of the Europa League tournament after a difficult 2:1 victory over Sirens (Malta). CSKA we losing 0:1 until the 75th minute, but after goals by Ahmed Ahmedov and Ali Sowe in added time the team manged to win. The guests may regret the result after playing good throughout the match and missing a penalty.

Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) also qualified for the second qualifying round of Europa League, after winning against Montenegrin Iskra Danilovgrad as guests with 1:0 after a goal from a penalty.

Slavia were eliminated in the first preliminary round of the Europa League tournament after losing 1:2 to Kukesi in Tirana.
