Hoteliers in Bulgaria hope for successful September

Photo: Veneta Nikolova

This year, the turnover during the active season on the native Black Sea coast has dropped dramatically, by about 40-50%, according to industry data.

However, hoteliers hope to make up for some of the losses in September, as more tourists prefer to rest in September.
Therefore, the prices of overnight stays in September fall by about 10-15%, and in some places the discounts reach up to 50%, under certain conditions.
Many Bulgarians also prefer the so-called weekend tourism, so some of the special prices are for travel packages for the days from Friday to Sunday.
