Premier Borissov and Minister Zaharieva congratulate North Macedonia’s new cabinet

Premier Boyko Borissov has congratulated Zoran Zaev on his election victory and on his re-election as Premier of North Macedonia, the government press office has announced. Premier Borissov voiced confidence that the two countries will always be the closest neighbors and friends. 

Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva sent congratulatory letters to the newly-appointed Deputy Premier in charge of European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov and to North Macedonia’s newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani, Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. Boyko Borissov and Ekaterina Zaharieva remind that they expect North Macedonia to adhere to the treaty of friendship singed in 2017.
