The Catholic ossuary chapel “Virgin Mary-Mother of Church” which is being built in the town of Chiprovtsi has received a EUR 3,000 donation, Anita Komitska, Director of the local historical museum announced. The donation was collected by representatives of old families from Chiprovtsi which settled in the village of Vinga, Banat region (Romania) after the Chiprovtsi Uprising of 1688. The money is donated by Francis Draginov, Nikola Begov and Francisc Fermendzhin. The remains of Archbishop Petar Bogdan, bishop Ilia Marinov and Franciscan monks who contributed to the spiritual upsurge of the old Kiprovets in the 18th century will be laid in the chapel.
