Deputy Mayor of Sofia in charge of construction resigns

Engineer Tsvetan Bozhinov who served as Deputy Mayor of Sofia in charge of public construction has resigned, the press center of Sofia Municipality announced. Bozhinov was responsible for the fulfillment of large infrastructure projects in Bulgaria’s capital city.

He assumed this position at the end of 2019.

The announcement of Bozhinov’s resignation comes only several days after it became clear that repair works were delayed or poorly done, Sega daily informs.

Engineer Angel Dzhorgov, former member of the Board of Directors of Metropoliten EAD, is to replace Tsvetan Bozhinov, the reporter of the Bulgarian National Radio Evelina Stoyanova announced.
