This weekend (12 and 13 September) Rousse on the Danube is hosting a rock and metal marathon. 14 bands have confirmed their participation in Green Rock Festival, and will perform on the stage in Svoboda square in the city.
Saint Electrics are tonight’s special guests. Two years ago they represented Bulgaria at the Eurosonic festival in Groningen in the Netherlands. That was their award after winning the Bulgarian National Radio’s new pop and rock song festival “Spring.”
On the second day the popular band D2 will play some of their greatest hits with their first frontman, Dicho, and their project together “D2 Acoustic Greatest Hits 20”.
The festival programme also includes master classes by two of Bulgaria’s top guitarists – Miroslav Ivanov (“Saint Electrics” and“The Usual Suspects”) and Dimitar Karnev (D2).
The exhibition – Green Rock Stories – by photographer from Rousse Petar Stamenkov captures some of the most memorable times from previous festivals through the years.
