Bulgaria welcomes normalization of relations between Israel and Bahrain

The decision by Israel and Bahrain to normalize relations between them, which was achieved with the decisive mediation of the United States, is another important step towards overcoming the atmosphere of confrontation in the Middle East. This has been stated in an official position of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

These efforts, which are in the interest of world peace and security, need to continue while respecting the interests and rights of all countries and peoples in the region, the ministry position reads.
