Gotse Delchev is Macedonian and Bulgarian at the same time – he is Macedonian in a regional, and Bulgarian in a national sense, said Assoc. Prof. Naum Kaychev, deputy chair of the Joint Committee on Historical Issues between Bulgaria and North Macedonia for bTV.
This discussion has been blocking the work of the committee for 10 months. Politicians from the two countries have also been stating their opinion.
