The modernization of 40 T-72 tanks is to begin by the end of 2020, Bulgaria’s Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov said in the coastal city of Varna. The tanks will be modernized in Bulgaria, BTA informs.
The first two Su-25 fighter jets repaired in Belarus are expected to arrive within several days, Minister Karakachanov said and added that in the beginning of October, a Bulgarian delegation is to visit the US factory where the F-16 fighter aircraft is manufactured.
