We have decided that it is pointless to resign 6 months before elections. This would bring unnecessary costs and losses to the state, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and one of the leaders of the United Patriots, Valeri Simeonov, has told BNT.

"Every government creates dissatisfaction. Everything done in the political, social and economic sphere could always be done better. It is normal to pay a price. What will the price be? We would find out in March," Simeonov added.

He described the anti-government protests as aggressive and added that he had repeatedly called for meetings with those dissatisfied with the country's government, but had not received a response.
