Bulgarian cardiologists to study the effects of coronavirus on the heart

Photo: archive

The biggest enemy of the heart is the fear of Covid-19 and then the coronavirus infection itself, the Bulgarian Cardiac Institute contends. The Bulgarian Cardiac Institute launches a national campaign, which aims to determine the effects of the coronavirus infection on the heart and the cardiovascular system in patients which have recovered from Covid-19, BTA informs.

Within the frameworks of the project, leading Bulgarian cardiologists are to make free-of-charge consultations, diagnostics and treatment of patients from all parts of Bulgaria who have already recovered from Covid-19. The campaign will begin on the World Heart Day-September 29, 2020.
