In 2020, Bulgaria ranks 43rd in the world in terms of social progress. The index measures the quality of life and social well-being of citizens in 163 countries. Three main groups of indicators are analyzed - basic needs, access to education and information, and personal freedoms. In the conditions of a coronavirus pandemic, the quality of life and social well-being fall for the first time in 10 years, BTA has reported.
