Bulgaria ranks 28th among 56 countries in the world in terms of housing price growth in the second quarter of the year, according to data from a consulting company, quoted by Trud newspaper. In the first quarter, this country held the 18th place. For the 6 months since the beginning of 2020, housing prices in Bulgaria have risen by 2.7%.
Turkey is leading with a 25% year-on-year rise in home prices, but at the backdrop of 12% inflation in the country. European countries occupy the first 8 places in the ranking, with the Baltic countries and those from Central and Eastern Europe in the lead after Luxembourg.
