Protesters block main road artery connecting Sofia with Trakia motorway

Residents of Gorubliane district blocked Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard in Sofia. The protest rally began at 4 pm. Demonstrators blocked both lanes connecting the avenue with Trakia motorway near the road fork towards Druzhba and Gorubliane residential districts. Police is diverting traffic to alternative routes. The key intersection remains blocked until 6 pm. 

Later, protesters are to join a procession along Tsarigradsko Shose to Independence square to participate at the 102th consecutive antigovernment protest which begins at 7 pm downtown Sofia.
