Sofia is considering a closing evening hour for restaurants, Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said, quoted by BTA. She pointed out that no other measures were needed at the moment. The work of kindergartens and schools with young students, where there is no increase in the number of infected, is important because of the children and their education, Fandakova says.

Public establishments and restaurants in other places will also be limited, because of Covid-19, BNT reported. In Plovdiv, a closing hour has been imposed for restaurants and cafes - 11.30 pm. In Blagoevgrad they will work until 9 p.m. The ruling GERB party has submitted a proposal to the parliament for a one-year reduction of the VAT on the supply of food to homes from 20 to 9%.
