When discussing tax laws, GERB plans to propose a VAT on food delivery to homes to be reduced to 9%. The measure will be valid until the end of 2021 and is part of the instruments to address the crisis caused by Covid-19. Currently, the tax rate for restaurants is reduced to 9%, but only for consumption on the spot. After a meeting with representatives of the restaurant industry, the chairwoman of GERB's Parliamentary Group Daniela Daritkova said that this would guarantee the survival of the industry and fits into all anti-epidemic measures.
