“Requests from different hospitals for financial support keep coming at the Bulgarian Red Cross," Hristo Grigorov,” chairman of the Bulgarian Red Cross said in an interview for the BNR.

“A commission makes an analysis and renders aid where it is needed most,” Grigorov said. In his words senior citizens and people living alone should once again be helped, as should doctors and police who work at the front line.

“The money raised for hospitals is used to buy ventilators, X-ray machines, germicidal lamps, thermometers, blankets,” Grigorov pointed out.
