The 6 billion euros under the Recovery Plan are just one of the European instruments for the recovery of the Bulgarian economy after the coronavirus pandemic, Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev told bTV.

The amount that will be available to Bulgaria by 2030 is over 25 billion euros, Donchev said. We are talking about cohesion policy, direct payments, the Rural Development Program, € 750,000 for rapid action against the pandemic and the economic crisis, € 1.15 billion for the so-called 'Fair Transition', Minister Donchev said.
The new programming period in the EU begins early next year.
